Shenzhen-based real estate developer Gemdale (600383.SH) booked April sales of RMB 1.5 billion, up 197.5% year-on-year, on the sale of 147,800 square meters, up 194.2% year-on-year. In the first four months of 2009, Gemdale sold 508,700 square meters for RMB 4.9 billion, up 76.5% and 61.3% year-on-year, respectively.
