Taiwan-based network equipment maker Arcadyan Technology has announced that it generated revenues of NT$1.84 billion (US$54.51 million) and net profits of NT$131 million in the first quarter of 2009. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$1.31 for the first quarter, according to the company.
Gross margin stood at 16% in the first quarter compared to 13.9% recorded in the fourth quarter of 2008, the company said.
For the second quarter, the company expects its revenues to grow 15-20% sequentially and gross margin to stay flat at 16%.
Arcadyan said it plans to deal out a dividend of NT$3.25, including NT$3.15 in cash and NT$0.1 in shares, for its 2008 business performance.
