AUSTRALIAN miner OZ Minerals Ltd has agreed to sell its Martabe gold-silver prospect in Indonesia to China Sci-Tech Holdings Ltd for US$211 million. The sale is expected to be completed in early June, OZ Minerals said yesterday, the day after Australia approved China Minmetals' revised bid to buy the bulk of the debt-laden OZ Minerals. China Sci-Tech is a Hong Kong-listed investment holding company and has been pursuing interests in the mining sector.
