Taiwan-based LCD panel maker Wintek has reported first-quarter consolidated revenues of NT$5.23 billion (US$154.82 million), gross loss of NT$657 million, loss from operations of NT$1.09 billion. The company had net losses of NT$1.17 billion, down 22.3% compared to the losses for the fourth quarter of 2008.

The company expects to see stronger growth momentum in the second half of 2009 amid rising touch panel shipments as the industry enters the peak season in the second half of this year.
