Shanda's (Nasdaq:SNDA) wholly owned subsidiary Shanda Online Holdings is holding a promotion to coincide with the April 21 release of a new expansion for the Oak Pacific Interactive licensed 3D MMORPG Shu Shan Online, reports 17173.com. Players signing up on April 21 to use the new expansion, called "Shu Shan Xin Zhuan," will be offered virtual items for use in the game with a value of up to RMB 1,000. The company will also hold a draw with prizes including computer mice and keyboards between April 21 and 26, said the report. Another promotion for the new expansion will see awards, in the form of virtual items, given to players reaching certain levels of the game between April 21 and 26, the report said. Shanda Online agreed in early April to co-operate Shu Shan Online, developed by Xiamen-based developer Onwind Digital, in mainland China.
