Alibaba Group's Alipay has agreed to provide payment services to the online sales platform (gl-sale.com) of real estate developer Shanghai Greenland Group's Chengdu subsidiary, according to the subsidiary's official site. The project is a trial that will mainly focus on down payments and be taken nationwide if successful, reports Sohu. This is the first partnership between an online payment provider and a real estate developer, said the report.
