Alibaba Group's consumer-focused e-commerce site Taobao.com announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with UNIQLO, a casual clothing brand owned by Japan's Fast Retailing Co. Ltd (9983.TK), reports 163.com. UNIQLO has established an online flagship on Taobao.com, and the e-commerce site will help UNIQLO establish, optimize and promote its official Chinese website and expand online sales channel in China, said the report. Shanghai Business reported earlier that UNIQLO plans to have more than 30 China stores by the end of June and hopes to have more than 50 by the end of this year.
