Finetech Japan 2009, one of the world's largest FPD shows, is being held in Tokyo from April 15-17. In addition to the FPD Components and Material Expo and Display 2009 shows, there are two new events, Touch Panel Japan and Lighting Japan (LED/OLED Lighting Technology Expo), this year.

The new Touch Panel Japan is exhibiting the touch panel modules/displays, as well as cutting-edge technologies related to touch panels, such as components, materials, software, manufacturing and testing equipment, and ICs.

The Lighting Japan focuses on next-generation lighting technologies, a segment which is attracting much attention worldwide because of its rapid growth in the market. The show also highlights environmental protection technologies. There are 250 exhibitors in the show.
