Shenzhen-listed Hebei Jinniu Energy Resources Co Ltd<000937> raked in RMB 1.964 billion in net profit last year, a year-on-year increase of 182.42%, sources reported.
In 2008, the gross profit of the Shenzhen-listed firm rose 174.58% to hit RMB 2.773 billion and its sales revenue rose 74.96% and reached RMB 9.275 billion. Earnings per share were RMB 2.49 and rate of return on net assets was 34.92%.
The energy enterprise recorded raw coal output of 11.668 million tons last year, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%. The company sold 9.665 million tons of coal, 1.5% more than in the previous year.
The company, headquartered in Xingtai City, Hebei Province, announced on Tuesday that it plans to inject RMB 450 million into its subsidiary in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province.
