China Mobile (NYSE:CHL, 941.HK) will provide TD-SCDMA network service to the National People's Congress (NPC) and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), to be held in Beijing on March 5 and March 3, respectively, reports c14.net quoting China Mobile's Beijing subsidiary.

An unnamed insider said China Telecom (NYSE:CHA, 728.HK) will offer 3G service to the NPC and CPPCC via its EVDO-based wireless broadband data card, reports qq.com. The EVDO service reaches a maximum download speed of 3.1MB/second, said the report.
