China Telecom (NYSE:CHA, 728.HK) is currently experiencing some difficulties and problems, reports Communications Weekly quoting State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) Vice Director Li Wei after his February 24 visit to the telecom operator. Li said China Telecom should try to decrease network construction costs and strengthen cooperation with industry competitors.
