In accordance with Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, Regulations on Administration of Veterinary Drugs and Regulations on the Administration of Precursor Chemicals, the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) recently jointly issued an urgent notice on intensifying the supervision of ephedrine, for the purpose of intensifying the supervision of the supply of bulk ephedrine and the manufacturing, distribution and use of veterinary ephedrine hydrochloride preparations, meeting the demands of animal disease prevention and control, and preventing relevant products from flowing into illegal channels.
